To make folders with thumbnail images start up faster, follow the next steps:

1. Click on Start menu and select Control Panel (see picture 1).

2. Go to Control Panel and then double click Folder Options (see picture 2).

3. Click on the View tab and Check "Do not cache thumbnails" (see picture 3).

4. Click on OK or Apply to make this change effective.
